Training regularly for me is crucial, and having a studio nearby is a must to minimize travel time.
I started my new fitness journey at Orange Theory (They are great, by the way). But I wanted a change, so I started researching for a new fitness studio in Kissimmee.
So here are my top choices. And I want you to know that these choices I’ve gathered are the more costly options. Towards the end, I will give you a list of budget-friendly studio options in Kissimmee.
Sidenote, the studios are not in order of preference.
Okay, so here they are.
The first one is Orange Theory Hunter’s Creek.
Orange Theory is a fantastic studio if you’re just starting up and want to burn many calories. They keep you motivated with different challenges, Benchmarks, and events. I was a member for two years, and I have nothing to say but great things about Orange Theory and its staff. Orange Theory Hunters Creek offers smaller, early morning and evening classes.
You start on the treadmill or the weight floor, work out for almost half an hour on each side, and then stretch for 5 minutes. So it’s a pretty awesome workout.
The next one on my list is HIIT FIT Kissimmee, where I’m currently a member.
Let me start by saying the culture in this studio is evident; you are there to become the best version of yourself.
This is a family-owned studio, so you take classes with the owners, Thayer or Marisa Flores. They are good people, knowledgable and caring.
Before choosing a studio, I had one condition, the trainer needed to be someone I admire (in other words, built/shredded). Obviously, the new studio required additional attributes, like workout quality, trainer knowledge, and experience.
I think that the owner does an outstanding job. He emphasizes how important it is to warm up before you work out. He reminds everyone about wearing proper shoes to work out and about nutrition and supplementation. The templates are dynamic and keep you guessing, not you guessing but the muscle guessing. And I really, really like that. I’ve been with them for the past month, and I have no clue what we will be working on the next day. There’s a structure; the workout targets a different muscle group every day. It’s nice because this format encourages you to attend class at least five days a week. And you get a really fantastic workout. I’m always walking out of class spent, but I like it because it means progress.
I can go on and on about Hiit Fit Kissimmee.
But I need to go to the next option, MUV in Kissimmee, off John Young Parkway, a pretty cool gym. A has morning classes at 5am and evening classes at 5pm. Well structured and clean. They know what they’re doing. Neat setup has different types of classes. You can also take a group class or an individual private training session with one of the coaches. So pretty awesome. If I weren’t going to Hiit Fit Kissimmee, I would look into MUV and become a member.
Another great choice is Body Sculpting. They offer nutrition classes and intense training classes. They have very high reviews, and their classes are well structured. I like their concept. I have not taken classes with them, but it is an excellent gym option if you move to Kissimmee, based on others’ feedback.
Then the next option will be my last option, the furthest from me.
JBO fitness in Kissimmee
This is a family-owned business, and the owner is very involved, which I like. He is a man of faith, and the studio reminds me of Orange Theory. JBO has that everyone welcome vibe. They have great reviews, and you can tell this is a community. JBO Fitness offers morning classes, very early morning classes.
As I promised initially, here are more budget-friendly fitness studios like Esporta, Planet Fitness, Crunch, and Anytime Fitness. These studios have options for you to get personalized one-on-one coaching, but it may cost extra.
These options will get you a great head start if you don’t know anything about the Kissimmee area.

Ashley Cove is located close to highway 192 and has access to the Turnpike.
When I think of Kindred, I think of a modern town with a country flair. This community has resort-style amenities, and the location is ideal! Kindred has direct access to the Turnpike and is close to retail stores and restaurants. Kindred developer in the #1 builder in the country, D.R. Horton. What you may like about this builder is that all the homes come with smart features, the floorplans and home features are modern. Kindred is simply a beautiful place you can call home.
In my opinion, North Pointe has the best of both worlds; it is in Kissimmee but close to Orlando International Airport. Very close to Lake Nona and the up-and-coming Sunbridge, Lake Nona’s sister city. North Pointe’s HOA (Homeowner’s Association) fee is budget-friendly without giving up on the community amenities.
One Word to describe The community of Tapestry is “Modern.” The location is perfect, Tapestry close to John Young Parkway, Osceola Parkway, and Toll road 417. Tapestry is a 24-hour guard gated community close to the Medical Arts District, The Shingle Creek Trail, The Loop, and more. Tapestry’s community amenities are top of the line, and the sidewalks with a water view allow you to stay active without ever living in the community. Tapestry has a combination of townhomes and single-family homes. Some homes look modern and others a bit more traditional. Everything in Tapestry looks picture perfect.

In 1883, Hamilton Disston of Philadelphia bought 4 million acres (16,000 km2) of land around Lake Tohopekaliga as part of a drainage project. Disston hired a group of men to dig canals to drain water from the lake into the Gulf of Mexico. He also built a small steamboat named ‘Kissimmee’ to travel between St. Cloud and Fort Meade, which led to the town being called Kissimmee.
The city of Kissimmee was founded in 1883 and incorporated as a city in 1906. “Kissimmee” comes from a Native American word: “long water.” Few different tribes settled around the area for its many lakes, including the Timucua, the Creek, and the Seminole.
Today, Kissimmee is known as a resort center. It hosts numerous tourist attractions such as water parks and recreational areas, but it also has over 1,000 acres of nature preserves for those who like to experience nature hands-on. If you’re looking to stay out of the Florida heat, you can take one of the city buses. The city buses run every 20 minutes and have wheelchair-accessible ramps on each bus. You can even use your smartphone to track the buses and see how close they are to your stop.
Renting a car is another option for getting around Kissimmee. If you rent a car in Kissimmee, it’s easy to get to nearby theme parks and other nearby cities like Orlando and Tampa. There are also plenty of rental car companies to choose from!
If you prefer not to drive yourself, several taxi cab companies operate in Kissimmee. All taxis must display their rates outside of their vehicles, so you’ll know exactly how much your ride will cost before you get in! If you want to move to Kissimmee, you must consider Tapestry; this community is gorgeous! But First, I want to tell you about Tapestry’s lifestyle. This community is close to everything, and when I say everything, This is what I mean: Tapestry is a short bike ride away from the Single Creek trail, a beautiful place where you can bike, run, walk, kayak, canoe, and much more! You have the medical arts district just minutes away. Downtown Kissimmee and the Kissimmee Lake Front is just a short drive away. There you can shop and dine at the different mom and pops restaurants.
Have you heard of the Loop? If you haven’t, this is an outdoor mall where you can find many renowned clothing stores, restaurants, a theater, and other convenience stores. There is another mall plaza nearby called Cross Roads, where you can find more restaurants, clothing stores, and furniture stores. This plaza is the home to the Orange Theory Fitness Hunter’s Creek.
If you are looking for home improvements stores well, you have Home Depot and Lowes about a mile away. Also, you have 2 Publix Supermarkets and a neighborhood Walmart about a mile away.
Moreover, you have car washes, many gas stations, pharmacies, and let me stop there because the blog can only be so long.
I don’t know how familiar you are with Kissimmee, but have you heard of the Sunrail? (The environment-friendly way to travel) Well, Tapestry is about 10 minutes away from The Tupperware Suntrail station. You can travel to Sanford on weekdays.
I get a popular question from people looking to move to central Florida: how far are the theme parks from here? Tapestry is close to World-class Theme parks, take Osceola Parkway (which is down the road), and you will be on Disney property in about 20 minutes. Even closer is Disney Springs, where you have more shops, restaurants, and live outdoor concerts.
If School distance is essential to you, Tapestry is close to the following schools: Kissimmee Middle School is across from Tapestry on Dyer Blvd. The Renaissance Charter School just outside Tapestry on W. Carroll St. Flora Ridge Elementary School is half a block away from Tapestry on Dryer Blvd. And Osceola High School, less than 10 minutes away, take S. Thacker Ave. to get there.
If you like to travel, you must be wondering how far the airport is, correct? Well, if you take highway 417, you will get to the Orlando International airport in about 15 minutes.
I could go on and on about what’s around this area. After all, I’ve lived here since the land was a cow pasture.
Now that you know a bit more about what the area has to offer let me share with you what the community of Tapestry has to offer.
Tapestry offers privacy to its residents with a 24-hour guard gated; It has a mandatory homeowner’s association, and as an owner, you will pay quarterly dues, which as of 2021 is $330. Tapestry also has a CDD (Community Development District), an annual fee included in the property taxes; this fee helps pay for the amenities.
Tapestry has approximately 929 homes, a combination of single-family homes and townhomes. The community looks modern, roads look well kept, and houses have an excellent curb appeal.
The community has walking trails, sidewalks, a playground, beautiful lake views, and a clubhouse where all the community amenities are. Tapestry’s resort-style amenities include a beach entry pool with a slide, cabana lounge area, a water view firepit area, BBQ Pavillions, a splash pad, a second playground, a paw park, a boardwalk alongside the lake shoreline. Inside the clubhouse, you have the fitness center with locker rooms, ballroom, conference rooms, and an upgraded catering kitchen.
